ACTIVITIES – CDTP
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT THROUGH POLYTECHNIC SCHEME
Our polytechnic is empowered to implement the Community Development Through Polytechnic Scheme sponsored by Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt of India from 1995. The major objective of this scheme is to promote the living standard of the rural people by giving them training in appropriate technical and non-technical trades. The rural people are trained under suitable trades identified which give them gainful employment.
WE OFFER TRAINING IN THE FOLLOWING TRADES UNDER MANPOWER DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING
- Cutting and Tailoring.
- Embroidery and Knitting.
- Fabric Painting.
- Electrical Wiring.
- Motor Rewinding.
- Lathe Works.
- Servicing of Radio and TV.
- Typewriting.
- Automobile Servicing and Maintenance.
- Computer Operator
- Servicing of Household Electrical Appliances.
- Furniture and Pattern Making.
All unemployed rural youths and women can get benefited by undergoing training in this scheme. There is no age limit. No minimum education qualification is required to learn any one of the trades offered. The entire course is offered free of cost. On successful completion of the course, the trained person will be awarded a training certificate approved by CDTP, MHRD, Govt of India.
